well he’s quite the respected general that cares for that main character …from the knowledge i see about this movie is that greed,extermination takes place..marines(humandity) which are greedy for those tiny rocks that cost millions..which leads to a ‘Tree of Life’ treasure tree?..and i think the Nevi wants to protect that tree for some kind of reason..idk what is,but i don’t think any of you people say this,IF the marines Succed in the War..the Nevi population will be extinct!>.like FOREVER
dude jake..this Movie plot of betrayel is exactly the same as THE LAST Samurai..tom cruise sided with the Samurai..and learn their ways..and in the end..he fought his own country men..any smiliarity

Yeah, I’m totally sure James Cameron ripped off Halo 3 and the Matrix. You know those concepts have been around for the last 30-years?
Hmmm…. Walking mechs from Matrix 3? I can’t really argue there, but why cant you see it as a souped up Walking Mech Sigourney Weaver fought an alien with in “Alien”. Before you criticize Mr. Cameron you should look into the genius of the movies been a part of in the past.

ok i’m going to see this and will prob enjoy it but one question:if this bloke is in a medical/military facility under some sort of induced sleep state – and the Avatar starts to act for the locals, why don’t the humans just unplug him?doesn’t make sense

this movie looks so amazing, a movie credit gave this preview a 5+ out of five, and that’s just the preview! I can’t wait to see this movie, and if it’s the director from the titanic, it’s definitely a must see!

Cameron trademarked the name back in the ’90s when he originally wrote the script. That’s why legally he was able to force the other movie to call itself The Last Airbender and he got to keep Avatar.
They may be starving but if we send them free tickets to Avatar they can starve in style.
